Thanksgiving in Austin 2013

The Wednesday before Thanksgiving, we started our morning with a doctor for little miss.  We saw a hand specialist.  I just love how these two accidentally matched each other.
We then went over to the Cowdens for the Wenning Thanksgiving!  It was a beautiful day so the kids did a lot of playing outside.

The Cousins

Our family--So much to be thankful of
It was a long, full day

A little baseball
On Friday, Avery got to have her thumbs out--oh, what a difference a little thumb can be
Papa taught Avery a new game (Bring it to Papa Game) and she went overboard with it and would bring him all sorts of things from around the house
On Saturday, we went to get her bandages changed one last time before heading home that afternoon.  She found a stuffed puppy in the gift shop
While we were at the doctor, Mimi and Papa were kind enough to take the boys early to the amazing Chuy's Blue Santa Parade.  A sweet friend gave us her VIP tickets, so the boys got hot chocolate, donuts, face paint, prime balcony seats, and more
Cute little reindeer
He really liked his new face

Davis squealed the entire time.  He was so excited!
A family shot
Daddy having fun too

This brought a tear to my eye...This is just one of the hundreds of trucks that were filled to the top with toys!  It was breathtaking the generosity and all the kids that would get toys for Christmas because of this parade

Good Ole Chuy's Santa
This is the beautiful sunset as we were pulling into our neighborhood after a LONG 10 days in Austin.  Not sure if it is just me but I see God's hand in the sky on the middle right portion of the picture.  It was a great reminder of God's hand being with us during Avery's hand situation.
Happy Thanksgiving and so much to be thankful for!
