Leaves Of Plenty

The boys had a blast "raking" the leaves with Daddy earlier this month.  They were such big helpers and LOVED jumping in them.  Too bad they were both sneezing, coughing, and scratching the rest of the day but it was all worth it for some fun in the leaves.  They must have Daddy's allergies.
Where is Caleb?
There he is!
Davis is awake from his nap and was ready to jump in too
Weeeeeeee!
1, 2, 3, GOOOOO!
Pure Joy
Love these two!
Mental Note: It helps to keep your mouth closed when jumping into leaves

The Most Wonderful Time of Year--Part 1

I love being able to start the post with one of my favorite part of December...decorating.  My wonderful mom has given me a set of the Willow Tree Angels Nativity Set for the last 4 years and now my set is complete and I LOVE IT!!! Thanks Mom.  I was giddy with excitement to set out each beautiful piece.  It is fun to see it take up a whole shelf and my nine other Nativity Sets on the bottom shelf (including 2 beautiful ones from Africa and some from many years ago).  What a great start to our month!
Second on the list, a tree!
Driving with it on the car
Hand print Ornaments
We went to The Richardson Civic Center to Santa's Village and had SO much fun!
"Chhhhhhheee"
Sweet Brothers!
Daddy showed up just in time to snag a picture with Frosty!
A little foreshadowing for what is to come....Davis wanted no part of a picture with a friendly Snowman!
But Caleb didn't mind
Precious!
Davis didn't want to sit on Saint Nicholas' (as Caleb calls him) lap
Daddy was in charge of Davis and didn't force him--so we have the back of his head. Oh well, maybe next year!
Now, on to all the little houses around the "Village"--Rudolph Nose
Police Officer Caleb with McGruff
Orchestra House
Getting Measured in the Medical House
Davis didn't care for going into the house but gave us a few photo ops with the wooden characters. He is trying to kiss (or eat, unclear) the candy cane.
Love it!

Cat in the Hat
Fire Station House

Avery did great-took a nap while waiting for Santa, woke up to the Jolly Man, and then enjoyed being strolled around.  Here she is yawning at 6:57 pm and the boys running down the sidewalk.
The Firetruck was about to leave and Caleb does NOT like loud noises, so he was plugging his ears.
Those were the pre-Christmas Festivities just to name a few.  There will be more to come in the following weeks.

Avery - 3 months - December 4

Oh our Baby Girl is growing up TOO fast (you are going to hear us say that a lot over the next couple of years).  This month our little girl has changed so much-we are trying to slow down time, capture every moment of these fast months, and soak up every look, sound, smell, and feel.
Avery is now sleeping through the night!!! HALLELUJAH!  We put her to bed at 7 pm and wake her up to start the day around 7:15/7:30 am.  We feel like a new person!  Praise the Lord she is a great sleeper and eater.

Avery coos, giggles, smiles, has found her hands and feet to stare at, loves her play mat, and loves watching her brothers run circles around her.
Avery also has found her first two fingers (pointer finger and middle finger) to suck.  Unclear if she does it to "soothe" herself or just likes sucking on them.

Her little tummy is developing too, because the last couple of weeks she will go 7+ days before having a bm. (poor thing that I just shared that on here) but she doesn't seem like she is in any discomfort, and that is what the pediatrician said to look for.
Just LOVE this beautiful dress
Giggles, Coos, and Smiles
Sleeping Through the Night, Oh My!
Happy 3 month Birthday Little Girl!
We love you so much and get hundreds of kisses from all of us (including your brothers-Davis even took a chunk out of her leg because he got so excited kissing her).
