Austin Weekend - April

Craig has been wanting to spend some quality time with his dad and go to the Ranch, just the two of them.  So, we all headed to Austin, and Craig went on down to the Ranch for a short 24 hours.  We had a fun weekend and enjoyed the special time.

Caleb wearing a beanie on his head on the car trip down.
On Saturday morning, we headed to Georgetown for TJ's flag football game!
There was a playground near the field and Davis had fun sliding
So did Sarah and Caleb
Faith chasing Davis
We need went to the Poppyseed Festival and caught the end of the parade.  We took a train ride around the block
Caleb LOVED going the bounce houses with his cousins

Weeeeeeee!

Later that night we played dress up in Papa's hats
Cute
My favorite picture with Caleb tipping his gentleman's hat, too bad it is so blurry
Julie is getting requests of the baby bump...it is there and getting big! This is at 20 weeks!
Craig and his dad
Caleb loved his new toys from Mimi: Razor and Green Lantern glasses
It was a fast but fun trip to Austin.  We will be there again in a few short weeks and are excited to stay there longer for Caleb's swim lessons.

April 2012

What a beautiful month we have had! We have posted most of our exciting and busy plans in April from our big news to our trip to Austin and the Ranch.  We will post our last Austin Trip post next.  But here are a TON of our everyday pictures of our silly boys:
Caleb's Easter Basket is now a hat/helmet
We asked Caleb to put on his some shoes for church and he came out so proud of his "Papa Shoes"
We have begun a Hamburgers and Ice Cream after church on Sunday.  Caleb was so nice to be letting Davis share some of his Ice Cream cone.  I think they both liked it.
Daddy planted some grass in our backyard and this is Davis' first time to play in the water.  It was so much fun!
Mammy gave us a bubble maker and Davis LOVES all the bubbles it makes
Daddy had a work meeting at a Rangers Game and came home with 2 cool hats for his boys! Here they are modeling them during dinner
We have had some beautiful days at the park.  This big 3.5 year old is now conquering the slides that he has feared for a few years!
The boys in striped shirts
Davis has incredible hand eye coordination.  He carried this tool belt around for HOURS latching the buckle together and taking it apart.  This is his "OH" face when he buckles it!  Davis also loves putting on pen caps and taking them off.  Great fine motor skill practice!
Davis is pretty proud of himself for climbing on the tractor at Griffin's precious 1st birthday party.
Griffin loving the icing--I think the Llama in petting zoo wanted some too
Caleb got to ride on some fun toys at the party-I think he would love to go back to Hudson and Carter's house.
Caleb's first real tree to climb by himself.  He was pretty proud on that Sunday afternoon at church.
We went to Eloise's 3rd birthday at Little Gym and we got to see this little gymnast in action! So glad Caleb just started taking a 45 minute gymnastic class at the rec center this month! He LOVES it and seems to be doing really well!
Davis had a ball too!
Glad Daddy was there to help

Caleb met a friend and they loved hanging upside down
The craziness of the bouncy sidewalk
Davis LOVED it!
Sweet Eloise!
Davis' new favorite thing/discovery--Ice

We went to a lacrosse game and the boys had fun playing afterwards.
Attempting to get a picture of the two of them but it was a little tough with the sun and getting stuck in the net.
More water fun...check out Daddy's new pretty grass that is coming in quite nicely
This is a first and a last! Caleb enjoyed playing in the crib but he is far too big to make this a habit
They are playing so well (most of the time) together.  Love hearing their sweet laughter together!
We had Davis' 15 month appointment
Height: 33 inches long (90-95%)
Weight: 25 pounds 2 ounces (50%)
Poor guy also has his 3rd ear infection
Mohawks during bathtime
We pulled down a cool, "new" bike from the attic (Thank you Ezells for the great hand-me-down).  Caleb loves it and is ready for a helmet so he "can feel safe on it"  Cute boy! This was also the weekend that Uncle Tony rode on his bike from Houston to Austin (a 2 day adventure)! Go Ton!
Anytime, Davis bonks his head or Caleb does something--he comes to me hitting his head (or other part of his body) or he will reenact what happened by hitting the wall, the door, etc.  Love that he can tell me what happened!
Davis is really big into shoes, so we tried on these precious house slippers and he just cracked up laughing and couldn't stop stomping around and touching them!
Caleb was telling Daddy a secret while whispering and holding his ear up to Daddy.
We went to the Arboretum with our Playgroup-Davis, Mia, Elyse, Harper, and Caleb running around
The fun playhouse at the Arboretum-we need to go back when there aren't a hundred kids on a field trips.
Such a fun, busy, wonderful month of April!
