The Year of Reunions

This was a month of Reunions...
Julie got together with her Pledge Class/Senior Class of 2003 from her sorority the beginning of June and had a great Girls Weekend Away staying at our Sorority House.  Craig had all 3 kids in Austin at Mammy and MeDad's House and was busy visiting other members of our families in Austin.

Friday Night-we hung out at the house, ate BBQ, and watched an old slide show from back in the day

Saturday we lounged on a boat on Lake Travis-So Much Fun!
Saturday Night we went out to dinner
This is a collage of our Senior Night Out in 2002 and then a picture from Saturday Night 2013

Such wonderful memories in this house! It was so fun to be back there for a weekend.  During the weekend I stayed in the first room on the right (second floor) in the picture below.  It was my room my Sophomore Year.  My Junior and Senior year, I was across the hall, the rooms on the second floor off the balcony.
I only found this one picture on Craig's phone of the kids that weekend, Avery TAKING a bottle - YEAH!!! Happy Dance!! Davis gave her his blanket-so sweet! I guess Craig was a little too busy to be taking pictures documenting the weekend for me!
The kids came and picked me up and I gave them a tour around.  They loved these straw lion things.
Beautiful Sunflowers on our drive back to Dallas
The next weekend, Craig had his 20th High School Reunion.  Go Berkner Rams!! They had a Happy Hour gathering on Friday night that Craig went to on his way home from work.  On Saturday morning, they had a family picnic at a park with snow-cones, bounce houses, and hot dogs.
There was a professional photographer that took all these great photos-because we didn't take a single one.

YEAH- for a family picture-even if 2 out of the 3 are DONE!

The spouses were included
The gentleman on the left is one of our good friends, a groomsmen from our wedding, and the model for the door prizes - Too Funny, Jason!
That was our busy June of Reunions!! It was fun seeing old friends, meeting new friends, and reminiscing on the past!

Our Great 8 - Anniversary - June 25

Oh How Quickly 8 Years has Flown By!
It is crazy that we have been married and living in Dallas for 8 years.
That was then...
And this is now...
Craig's Small Group Guys and Parents were oh so very kind and generous and gifted Craig (and us) with an amazing package deal for a night at the Adolphus, an incredible meal at The French Room, and a delicious breakfast.  We had a wonderful time getting away for our Anniversary and are grateful for Julie's parents to keep the kids for 24 hours.
This is a fun picture in the elevator on our way to dinner
The French Room was beautiful

Our 3 course meal was unforgettable and incredibly tasty!

One last picture before the night ends
We had a great view of Reunion Tower and the Green Building from our room
There was a cool frame in our room that we captured some silly poses before heading home.

Thanks again Small Group Families for the wonderful blessing of a night away and thank you Mimi and Papa for loving on our kids so we could have an uninterrupted night of sleep!!!

Father's Day 2013

We had a great day celebrating Daddy for Father's Day.  Craig is an incredible Daddy and this is just one of the many days that we could say "thank you" for all he does for us and to make him truly feel like the King of our family that he is the other 364 days of the year.

We began with breakfast in bed with his favorite, Crepes with Fresh Fruit

Caleb just couldn't wait for Daddy to open the presents that we had been preparing for weeks.  So we compromised with just one before church.  Ladder Golf!
We went to church and had fun playing afterwards.
Caleb and Graham, a sweet neighbor friend
We tried a new hamburger restaurant in our neighborhood and Davis entertained us by drinking his ketchup
We came home to play a game of Ladder Golf

After nap time, we played and opened more presents

Every year, we give Craig a picture that spells out "D A D" for his office.  It was so fun to actually have 3 kids to put in the 3 frames.  Love it! (I dressed the kids in the same outfit as the pictures)
This little girl full on crawls (as if she were sprinting) when she sees her Daddy.  She gets so excited when he walks in the door and cant wait to be in his arms.

Sweet kisses
Another gift was a Race Car Massage Shirt.  Thank you Pinterest!
Then it was time to play outside again but this time in the water!

Such a fun day for a fun Daddy that makes us all feel special! We love you!
