State Fair 2013

We planned our Fair Day and of course it was raining that day.  But that didn't hold us back.  We geared up in our best rain jackets and boots and had a blast.

We hit the rides first, The boys chose hot air balloons.  This was Davis first year to show interest and excitement, but that quickly ceased when he was about to get in.
Caleb had a balloon popping time (even if he was by himself)

We took a break from the rides and let Davis watch a couple of rides first and after that he was ready.  They choose these car things.
Caleb loving it...Davis well, was a little white knuckled and alternated between laughs and being frightened.
Ahhhh! Look at Davis' face-poor guy!
Running to Daddy after his first ride-He actually was very excited and loved it!
This was Avery's seat the majority of the day
The Petting Zoo

The boys then got to pick 1 more ride. Davis chose a 4 Wheeler and loved it again
Caleb chose his old favorite (his first ride).  He had a whale of a time!

We found a new place this year, a green house for some pumpkin painting
Davis was a little shocked that we actually let him use a marker and permanent at that
Mr. James, inside the Green House, showed us his hidden stash of trains.  The boys loved holding the trains and exploring the little doors and windows.  Mr. James was very informative!

Huge Pumpkins
Amazingly talented people
Sweet!
A sack dinner break before exploring some more
We were able to see a little piece of the Cotton Bowl, where the Horns had just beat OU.  Caleb has his Horns up!
Davis attempted to have his Horns up!
This makes me laugh
Davis showing his free toothbrush! Thank you Sensodyne.
Avery was happy even though she was a little wet from her knees to her ankles.

Happy Fair Day! We had a blast and the Fried Snickers did not disappoint!

September 2013

I've never been this behind in blogging but glad to be writing September's blog in November.
So, our Craig's month began working hard in the heat, cleaning, scrubbing, washing, repeating, painting, and more painting on Labor Day weekend.  He worked so hard and we have a beautifully stained deck because of him.
Of course, he had two little helpers that did a great job too

Avery watched from the inside

The end of August, Davis got 5 stickers on his Potty Chart (for going #2 in the potty) and we told him he could go to the toy store and pick out anything he wanted.  He was set on getting his own soccer shoes, ball, shin guards, socks, and bag.  He was so excited and it was a great incentive for him!!
Craig was able to get Ranger's Tickets from work.  We had a great time and it was a beautiful (warm) night!
Beautiful sunset - the boys love sitting up at the VERY top of the stadium

At our great seats that we sat in for a few innings

Silly boy
The boys were so excited to pull a Hike out of the Daddy Date Jar.  They went on a fun hike with walking sticks and all.

Davis was attempting to put on his night time diaper (he is now wearing pull-ups at night and staying clean and dry most nights)
Love Avery's face, she looks likes she is up to something
Mimi and Mammy brought some bubbles and fun wands-they had a blast with them

The Birthday Girl
This girl loves phones and Papa was kind enough to let her play with his
Caleb all dressed up after Bible Study (he does a great job dressing himself, coordinating his clothes, and looking spiffy)

This girl melts my heart
We had a fun family project and Craig worked very hard entertaining my pinterest crafting
Everyone had a turn painting

Figuring out how to hang it
I LOVE the finished product

We even attempted to measure Avery-Ha!
The boys wanted to measure Daddy
Around Caleb's birthday he was "Friend of the Flag" at Chapel School

I found some other pictures from Caleb's Birthday Eve "Camp Out" and sparklers

Avery loves monkey walking and when I need a little break, I have her push the boys around on the car
Love our night routine of Daddy reading God's Word to the boys
I love my Tuesday/Thursday mornings with this kid.  When we play baseball he has to dress the part

Ah! I just love him!
Avery saying "Thank You" in sign language-usually slaps her faces or it kind of looks like she's blowing a kiss
When I say "Smile", she makes this squinted eye smile
She doesn't enjoying swinging but for 30 seconds
Having fun on a car trip
All 3 swinging for 2.3 seconds
Entertainment while swinging

Preciousness in a bow
Sweet Boy
That was our September (along with 2 birthdays, 2 birthday parties, a lot of out of town family, a trip, soccer games, soccer practices, 2 Ranger's Games, and much much more).  We had a blast and made a ton of memories.  We are so blessed, thankful, and grateful for all that we were able to do and experience.
