Pre-Thanksgiving Week in Austin 2013

We had a fun and fancy opportunity the Thursday before Thanksgiving.  Craig and I were invited to go to the Inaugural Gala for the Clements Center for History, Strategy & Statecraft Gala at the University of Texas at Austin.  This was a special opportunity to host a table for Craig's firm's clients and honor the legacy of former Governor Bill Clements.  Dr. Robert Gates was the keynote speaker and delivered a wonderful message of the importance of the Center at UT to help prepare leaders of our great state and incredible country to combat global threats that will inevitably emerge.

Here we are all dressed and the kids wanted to be in the picture too

The evening was wonderful...it was held in the practice field, they had the UT Band play, Big Bertha, Bevo, and they even lit the tower for this event.

On Friday, we met to play, eat, and celebrate Aunt Jen's birthday.

We took the Garcia's over to Mimi and Papa's for a fun slumber party

Mimi was kind to drop off her car and take Avery home for a nap, so the boys were so excited to ride home in a booster seat.

The boys had fun playing with Ava's toys

Not too many pictures from here on out, largely due to the fact that Avery had her hand incident on Monday night.
