January Snow Day and Not-So-Snow Day

Ever since we missed the White Christmas, Caleb's been asking for snow.  One, Tuesday morning before school we woke up to a beautiful dusting of snow.  Caleb LOVED playing in the snow!!!

Davis refused to wear a hat and gloves, but fortunately we were able to get a jacket (a thin one), pants, and shoes on him, after much coercing.  (he would run around with shorts and bare feet all day if we let him).

At first, Caleb did not want to go down the slide, but he gained enough courage and finally did it and LOVED it!

Then, this little one realized how cold he was and was D-O-N-E!

Then on another day in January, just a few weeks later, the weather warmed up and we got a string of days with great weather.  This particular day, it had just rained and there were puddles of water everywhere.  The boys quickly got very wet and then ended up looking like this.

Recent Family Photos

The past 3 months we have been blessed to have a few photo opportunities.  The first one was back in October from a woman in our neighborhood that put a post on the neighborhood facebook page asking for people to help her build her portfolio for FREE.  We were so blessed and enjoyed a wonderful time with Ms. Heather!  

This is the winner that made the Christmas Card but not without a TON of hard work from the Amazing Craig, or photoshop sluether! 

This was the picture that Heather took on an angle.  Craig worked some long hours to amazingly recreate the corners of the picture.  I was super impressed with my husbands mad skillz!

When Thanksgiving rolled around, we hadn't seen the above pictures yet so Aunt K10 and her assistant Lucy was kind enough to take pictures, just in case.  This was the runner up but again our photoshop connoisseur, replaced Caleb's head, which makes me laugh!!

Lastly, Craig knows I LOVE pictures and bought a groupon deal a while back.  It was expiring and we thought it would be great to get some more pictures (probably not the best timing but again incredibly grateful for these memories to cherish).  We are waiting on our prints but have this cute video in the meantime.

It is fun to capture our family at this stage and seeing their little personalities.  

Avery - 4 months - January 4

Avery had a sweet month, just really hitting her groove with naps, eating, wake-time, giggling, and being entertained by her brothers, her hands, her feet, and a few toys.  (which I am sure will change tomorrow)

 

We can't say enough how wonderful Avery is to our family.  She is flexible, easy going, and a great addition to our family.  

One week until Christmas-and all dressed up in one of her Christmas outfits!

Avery's First Christmas!!! And just a few days later Avery got her first little ear infection.  Poor girl!  

Avery's First New Year!  We drove home on her 17th week--she slept the WHOLE way home.  We thought we were going to have to stop but she just kept on sleeping.  She is such a great little traveler!

We had Avery's 4 month well visit this morning and she is growing well. 

She is 25 inches long (70%) and 14.1 pounds (45%). 

Happy 4 month Avery!  You are a blessing and we love you dearly!
