The Most Wonderful Time of Year--Part 1

I love being able to start the post with one of my favorite part of December...decorating.  My wonderful mom has given me a set of the Willow Tree Angels Nativity Set for the last 4 years and now my set is complete and I LOVE IT!!! Thanks Mom.  I was giddy with excitement to set out each beautiful piece.  It is fun to see it take up a whole shelf and my nine other Nativity Sets on the bottom shelf (including 2 beautiful ones from Africa and some from many years ago).  What a great start to our month!
Second on the list, a tree!
Driving with it on the car
Hand print Ornaments
We went to The Richardson Civic Center to Santa's Village and had SO much fun!
"Chhhhhhheee"
Sweet Brothers!
Daddy showed up just in time to snag a picture with Frosty!
A little foreshadowing for what is to come....Davis wanted no part of a picture with a friendly Snowman!
But Caleb didn't mind
Precious!
Davis didn't want to sit on Saint Nicholas' (as Caleb calls him) lap
Daddy was in charge of Davis and didn't force him--so we have the back of his head. Oh well, maybe next year!
Now, on to all the little houses around the "Village"--Rudolph Nose
Police Officer Caleb with McGruff
Orchestra House
Getting Measured in the Medical House
Davis didn't care for going into the house but gave us a few photo ops with the wooden characters. He is trying to kiss (or eat, unclear) the candy cane.
Love it!

Cat in the Hat
Fire Station House

Avery did great-took a nap while waiting for Santa, woke up to the Jolly Man, and then enjoyed being strolled around.  Here she is yawning at 6:57 pm and the boys running down the sidewalk.
The Firetruck was about to leave and Caleb does NOT like loud noises, so he was plugging his ears.
Those were the pre-Christmas Festivities just to name a few.  There will be more to come in the following weeks.
