Donovan Family Reunion

After about 2+ years of planning a family reunion, the time was FINALLY here.  In July, 47 adults and 17 kids, gathered in Austin from Hawaii, Oregon, Seattle, North Carolina, Illinois, Las Vegas, Dallas, and Cincinnati.  We hadn't all been together in a few years (now that everyone is married). We had a WONDERFUL 3 nights and 4 days with lots of fun memories.

Here was the shirt that Craig designed
MANY of these pictures were taken by Uncle Mike, I am grateful how he used his talents, once again, to bless our family and this reunion.

On Friday night, most the group was already in town and we met as a whole group for the first time at Rudy's BBQ

Kelley and Kristin
Sammy and Avery just adored each other
Lauren jumped in the pic
The whole group
Anytime there was down time in our weekend, there was always a group at the hotel pool.  It was a great place to gather and stay cool.
On Saturday night, the Cowdens hosted everyone at their house for some yummy Food Truck Burgers.  The kids had a blast!

1, 2, 3, gooooooo!

Davis skinned his knee the first night and swimming didn't always feel good.
Next to the pool was a great sports court and the kids were often found out on it, as well.
Avery taking a Watermelon break

Many of our evenings (after the kids had gone to bed) were spent with the adults catching up and comparing bald heads
Like Father Like Son
More swimming

There were a few that hung around Austin for a few days and did some more sight seeing.  Lucas had fun at the Thinkery!!!
What a wonderful 1st Donovan Reunion!! We look forward to the next Reunion in 3 years in California.  So many memories, laughs, stories, and good times! We are grateful for the Grandma and Grandpa who left a legacy of such great people.
