June 2011

Whew! What a whirlwind of a month...I am just exhausted organizing all of our fun pictures.  Here are a FEW pictures of the happenings during the month of June-ish.

On the way down to the Ranch, we stopped in Austin to stay with Mimi and Papa for the night to break up the drive.  A few weeks prior, Caleb got his brain stuck on playing tennis.  We asked Mimi and Papa if we could have one of their old tennis rackets and Caleb was most excited to actually start playing tennis, of course right when we got there.
He had the whole family out there playing with him at 8:30 at night.

Uncle Willie making Davis giggle
Mr. Roller on his tummy
Our playgroup went to a fun park in Highland Park and Jake, Brooks, and Caleb are taking a jeep ride.  Ms. Veronica is such a sport riding with them.

It is rare that both boys have their matching shirts washed and wearing it on the same day.  I had to capture a quick picture, especially since Davis won't fit in his for long.
A very blue tongue from a lollipop after getting his haircut
Since Davis is rolling and arching his back, bath time was challenging in the plastic newborn tub-so we moved him up to a new bath tub.
Punkin in a bath towel
First time for Rice Cereal
Fun with water and buckets

We just had to visit a favorite from our days in California.  We went 3 weeks after it opened and had about a 25 minute wait in the drive through.  It was worth it!  Yum Yum!

After we ate, we showed Daddy a fun maze/park in Allen that we went to last month with a friend
Finally, I was able to capture the preciousness of a sound sleeper.
I just love a peaceful baby sleeping
It was just about time to wake up, so after I took the above picture, this is his waking up face-love it!
We were changing around Davis' clothes (now that he is in 6-9/6-12 month clothes) and Caleb found this 12 month outfit.  He is just like his Daddy squeezing into clothes, just for fun.
Cool Guy!
Daddy and Caleb went to run some errands and and they had fun at Sports Authority.  Just to let you know our 2.5 year old wears a CHILD'S MEDIUM helmet (not a toddler's medium-CHILD'S)
(I tried so many times to get this picture turned around-no such luck)
One of Julie's girls moved to California a few years ago and they were visiting and wanted to meet Davis.  Such a sweet family-I miss Carley and Diotay!
Great Aunt Liz and Great Uncle Butch sent Caleb this cool denim jacket-he LOVED it and wore it all day-even to nap.  Why does he not wear a jacket when it is cold outside?
We brought breakfast to Daddy for Father's Day
Then gave him this cool hat we painted for him (he is a little tired still)
We loved celebrating the best Daddy in the whole world.
Brian, a friend of Craig's from growing up and a groomsmen in our wedding, came in town to meet Davis
We got out a new toy (more things to add to our costume closet). Who knew dressing up could be so much fun?  Thanks Mimi for the hours of entertainment!
Caleb also had fun dressing up his brother
Caleb is getting pretty good at taking pictures
Caleb was most entertained with a giraffe and lion on our drive down to Austin before our Horseshoe Bay vacation
Our first time in Mimi and Papa's pool this summer.  Caleb is so fearless and loves the water!

Love this picture
Davis' first time swimming this summer.  He was a little uncertain but seemed to enjoy it

We ended the month the Indoor Safari Park in Plano-Caleb could not get enough of the balls
The train ride with his buddies Jake, Corban, and Ms. Pam was okay but not quite like sliding into a pit of balls.
We just love summer break and all the things we have been able to do!
