Playscape Adventures

After months of planning, preparing, powerwashing, sanding, staining, drilling, hammering, screwing, and assembling we are excited to say the Playscape is finally finished.  Craig worked numerous hours to recreate an incredible backyard adventure for Caleb.  We have many people to thank for this...first, The Ezells for generously giving it to us when they moved to Austin, the strong men in our Community that helped move it, the neighbors for their supplies/ladders/expertise/extra hands, our dads for taking a weekend to do this "back-breaking" work, and lastly to the best DAD/HUSBAND (Craig) for his hard work!!!!  We could not have a beautiful playscape without any of you! Enjoy these pictures documenting the process:

A little sanding (this pictures shows how long ago Craig started this project because he is wearing a coat!)
A beautiful stain on the playscape
Getting the awesome fort balanced
Setting the slide
The new sand box before the 25 bags of sand
Drum Roll Please!!!....The finished Playscape Adventure
Let the fun begin
Caleb LOVES to climb the ladder and slide down the slide-it is a really fast slide
The men that made it possible.  Thank you ALL!!!!
In between the playscape, the "work weekend" also included painting the garage floor with Epoxy.
Dear Dadda, Thank you for working so hard, so many hours, and making my playscape perfect!  I love it and love spending time with you in the backyard.  It was fun to watch you use your tools, work with the grandpa's, and be so dedicated to making the best backyard a boy could ever have!  You are the best! I love you!! ~Caleb
