May 2013

We had yet another fun and exciting month! The love that our children have for one another just melts our hearts and to see each of them grow to be such precious children.  Davis' vocabulary has exploded and we have had a few good laughs with what he says these days.  Caleb's mind is a little sponge and enjoys learning new things and asking a ton of great questions for his insightful observations.

These little monkeys are saying "Strong Guy"
We had a special lunch date with Daddy at the new "Tunnel Park." The Klyde Warren Park is built on top of the tunnel (that the boys "choo choo" as we go under it).  They thought it was the coolest thing that there is a park on top AND it is walking distance from Daddy's office.

They ran laps around this precious park
Glad that I now know that there is water and we will be prepared next time with swimsuits, towels, or even a change of clothes.

Dunking their heads in the water

More water

Fun Games with Daddy
Love seeing these three loving on each other
Mother's Day...was incredibly special thanks to a wonderful husband and great kiddos.  On Sunday morning, Craig whisked the boys off early in the morning.  Avery and I continued to get ready for church.  The doorbell rang and these precious "Prom Dates" were ready to pick me up...They had tuxedos, a corsage, a homecoming mum, and of course awkward shoes.  I just love them and the unique, creative, fun ways they love me.

After church and a yummy lunch at a new hamburger place in the neighborhood.  These boys washed my car and had so much fun doing it!

We finished the night with yummy ice cream at a neighborhood ice cream shop.  It was a treat for us all! Such a special Mother's Day!

 Avery playing

Avery is now up on all fours and getting around...
...funny that this one thinks that he can then "ride" her.  Don't worry, she wasn't hurt in the process.
Mimi came in town to see Caleb's End of Year Program
So much laughter when she's in town.

Caleb's preschool had a precious little program for the End Of The Year

Caleb really is a natural and loves being on stage
The whole preschool
Davis loved cheering on his brother
Sweet boy-makes my heart skip a beat

"God is King of Jungle-oooo ooooo, God is the King of the Sea!"
A last hug before Mimi heads out into pouring rain heading back to Austin

Our bathroom packed and ready, just in case of an emergency with the crazy weather this month
Oh...the sleeping saga continues!!! This is where Davis fell asleep one night! I couldn't even open the door to see how he was laying, I stuck my phone in to snap a picture.
A sweet friend our ours from church/school invited us to a party at the new Nature and Science Museum.  It was so much fun!! Caleb was intrigued by a computer that you programmed and it created it on a spinning wheel.

Our church had a HUGE celebration for Baptism Sunday.  It is one of a our favorite Sundays--such a special day to celebrate the lives that were reborn in Christ.  There were even bounce houses, sno-cones, popcorn, music, hamburgers and so much more!!!

We took a picnic down the street to watch the construction of the new park.  These boys are so excited to get to play on it-one of these days.
This was the first day of school picture with Ms. Schwartz and Ms. Radabaugh
Last Day with Ms. Schwartz
It's summer!!

Davis crawling under sister-silly boy

Caleb wanted in on the action.  All three playing in the exosaucer
Davis loves when we pick Caleb up from school and he gets to sit in on the last couple of minutes of school.  I love Davis, wearing a Batman shirt, and Jake's little brother, Joshua wearing a Superman shirt.  Precious little brothers!
One night we had a babysitter and some how the boys coerced their way into sleeping in the same bed.  Caleb didn't like it and probably will never offer up his bed for little brother to share again.
An early morning picture for these sleepy heads
An afternoon at the park

Daddy and Caleb had a special day at the Byron Nelson Golf Tournament
This kid ate 2 huge hot dogs, 2 ice creams, and enjoyed every minute of it.

What a special treat!
Climbing trees after church

Lunch with our buddy Braysen after church
Just love how Avery was sleeping one night!  Can't get enough of her!
Caleb and Davis play SO well together - most of the time

Avery likes the park too
Playtime at Chick Fil A

Caleb is such a sweet brother and helps Davis on the HUGE obstacle courses at Jump Mania-such sweet brothers!
