On Wednesday afternoon before the Easter weekend, we packed up and headed to Austin to spend some time with Craig's family before heading to the Ranch. We had a wonderful and relaxing 1.5 days in Austin!
The boys playing and putting a puzzle together
MeDad had a special picnic on the balcony with Caleb
MeDad playing ball/golf/wrapping paper roll with Davis
Davis was so silly and kept throwing his head backwards on Craig
We did a very Austin-y/Tourist-y thing that we had never done and will definitely have to do again. Mammy and MeDad took us to Zilker Park to play, ride the trains, feed the birds, and eat some yummy treats overlooking Barton Springs. Davis is chasing after the birds and not trying to feed them.
Caleb feeding the birds
First taste of a Popsicle
I think Davis likes it!!
The family overlooking the beautiful Barton Springs (such fun memories down there in that cold water)
A super cute park with an old fire truck
The boys had a blast
All Aboard! Such a fun experience (sad my camera died but the group was very entertained)
Later that afternoon, we squeezed a quick hour in with the Cowdens and had a fun Easter Egg Hunt
Caleb enjoyed hunting for eggs this year (I borrowed a few pictures from Kristin, I can tell the difference in the cameras/shots and have camera envy at her amazing quality).
I just love this picture of Sandy/Mammy, such a beautiful Mother/Grandmother!
And what a great picture of Bob/MeDad!! (Great pictures from Kristin, right?)
The boys wouldn't sit still long enough for a family picture-sad because I love Kristin's camera.
Poor Davis was not having any more pictures, sitting still and posing
This picture cracks me up of Davis (Jack's looking a little bored too)
Such a poser these days
The best picture I could get of our family
We had such a fun time in Austin but we excited to go to the Ranch the next day. The trip just wasn't long enough-maybe next time!
