How many months are we going to say that our little girl is growing up so much and this year is FLYING by? Sweet Sweet Petunia is 5 months and growing up too quickly.
We had a good month...a TON of prayer went into this month and the big weekend away for big student ministry event with our Seniors. Mimi came in town and Avery was not doing a great job taking a bottle the last few months. There was much preparation, prayer, practice, prayer, patience, and more prayer. She did okay--having a few good feedings and having a few not so good.
Avery started "eating" cereal and it tends to help if it is a day we know she is going to have to "drink" from a bottle to fill her little tummy up a little bit more.
Avery has rolled from her tummy to her back a few times, loves sleeping on her side (predominately her left side), she LOVES having a blanket, sleeve, toy, arm, basically anything in her mouth. We have allowed her to sleep with a variety of "blankets" during nap time and she seems to really enjoy it.
A photo-bomb by big brother
Avery is getting this fuzzy blond hair that is coming in. (She may have some hair the time she is 1). She gets these precious red cheeks after she eats. Avery also locks eyes with people talking, smiles at them, and listens to their every word. We pray that she is a great listener.
Avery is beginning do the tri-pod sit by herself.
Happy 5 months Sweet Avery! You are precious to us and we love the glowing report when we pick you up from the church nursery. They always say you were the best baby in the class. Thanks for being flexible, easy-going, and a sweet personality. We love you!!!
