Avery is 1 year old!!!! September 4

Happy Happy Birthday Sweet Avery Kate!

 You are a joy, a light, a ray of sunshine in our family.

This year has been an amazing blessing and one with so many wonderful memories.

We still don't know where the year went-it has flown by and our little girl has been so flexible, easy going, giggly, and adores her Daddy and brothers.

Avery got her 5th tooth (almost 6th) and I didn't even know it.  She seems to do well with and only gets fussy when she is hungry or tired (don't we all). 

Avery got Hand Foot Mouth with just a few bumps, blisters, and one day of a fever. Poor girl...the boo boo on her knee took a really long time to heal because she kept crawling on it.  She adjusted her crawl so that she could still get around and it to not hurt so badly.  She didn't seem to mind!

At Avery's 1 year appointment she checked out with flying colors

Her weight is: 20 pounds 12 ounces (54%)

Her height is: 29 3/4 inches (68%)

Avery has a little bunny blanket that she sleeps with and instead of sucking a thumb/finger (like her brothers) she sucks on the ear of the bunny.  She is a great little eater, eats most everything, and really loves our green smoothies that Daddy makes every morning.  She is napping either 1-2 times a day (a consistent nap from 1-3 pm, and either a morning nap or an afternoon nap.)  She is so flexible and loves to be held by her daddy anytime he is home and around .  She loves her brothers and is always giggling at their silly antics.  

 

Happy Birthday Sweet Avery! We love you, adore you, and are so grateful you are the little bow on our family.  We are excited to see how you grow this next year and pray that the Lord would protect you as you begin to walk, explore, and become a Godly little girl! We love you Sweet 1 year old!!!
