Between our time in Austin and our Horseshoe Bay Vacation, I didn't think our July post would be very long (but I was wrong--this post is VERY long!)
Our month started with a sweet visit from one of my students that moved to California years ago. She is still very near and dear to my heart. Carley and her precious mom were great with the kids and they both were snapping pictures of our family and took some great shots.

We sure do love and miss Ms. Carley!

About 103 times a day you can find Davis doing this...putting on socks and shoes (mainly soccer cleats or a pair of his brother's shoes). Davis can also be found wearing a combination of soccer/sports shirt and sport shorts.
Davis loves cuddling with his sister. He loves on her so much. He brings her his blanket and they both cuddle together with it.
Caleb is hanging upside down holding the big exercise ball. It was kind of funny!
Avery loved her first bite of corn on the cob
Love their tradition of reading before bed
Davis found the perfect hiding place-Silly Boy!
Caleb proved that he was not too big to fit in it too-even without clothes on
Our Little Firecracker!
A change of outfits because we have so many cute Fourth of July clothes.
A Fourth of July Sweet Treat at Henry's
Davis is still choosing to take naps all over his room and takes naps on the trampoline a few times. I am happy to say that as I am writing this, he now has taken consistent naps and sleep on his bed or brother's top bunk! Yeah!
Took a picture of a Two-Year old moment to try to make him smile and also to send it to Daddy to pray for us both! As hard as these moments are, I know they will be gone soon and he will be out of this glorious phase.
We finally got a new double stroller to take walks around the neighborhood. I wear Avery in the Ergo and the boys have so much fun!
Silly Boys with Bam-Bam hair!

Davis wasn't feeling great for about 24 hours. He fell asleep on the kitchen floor while I was making dinner. Poor Guy!
Caleb dressed up in my old plastic charm necklaces from when I was little.
A second long cuddle with Avery
My big helpers feeding their sister
Caleb has decided that he is old enough, responsible enough, and is ready to play soccer. We talked about it for a few weeks and he was still interested. Daddy took him to the soccer store and he got all set up with a new ball, cleats, shin guards, socks, and a bag to carry it all! He LOVES it and it SO ready for soccer to start!
Sweet brothers hugging as they share the cleats!
Davis' turn. He wears these ALL. THE. TIME!!!!
Avery loves broccoli
An early morning adventure in the backyard before it gets blazing hot...Davis pushing his sister in the swing

My Little Helpers
Caleb had a great idea to to put the slip and slide at the end of the slide. It was a lot of fun and they had some great entertainment.
Avery enjoyed some splish splashin'
Avery during the Slip and Slide Fun
As you can see it got crazier and crazier.
We got a roll of foil out. Coloring, Coloring, and more Coloring on it! It was so much fun!
Then we dressed in our super hero gear
Wrapped up in our aluminum foil
and said, "Super Hereos Explode!!" and they used all their super hero strength to bust out of the lock of their bad guy's foil
The fun of foil continues with making aluminum foil balls that were kicked/thrown for hours!
Avery enjoyed playing with her own foil balls
These boys play in the sandbox daily. Davis goes out there and plays by himself but they love to build and play together.
Davis wanted to take a Tuesday Picture with his sister
Love it!
Avery's first time in the sandbox
The boys were rewarded with a treat, we went to a place called Monster Yogurt! They had yogurt, some fixins', and then played on the indoor play area.
Love this picture!!
We did a sweet summer reading club at Caleb's school. They had a celebration at the end of the month. There was face painting, games, pictures, and tons of prizes!!
We have been blessed with a few date nights this month and actually remembered to take a picture
We realized there was a smudge on the lens so we took a different one
Daddy played another indoor soccer game and Davis yelled for Daddy the entire time. It was cute!
The boys dressed in their finest baseball uniforms and played a little ball
While Mimi and Papa were in town (before they left for a month in Costa Rico) we took advantage of a few extra hands at the cool new pool in Richardson!
Papa was so kind and sat underneath the huge bucket of water that dumps out! What a trooper!
Thanks Mimi and Papa for being an extra set of hands. We will miss you but pray y'all have a great month vacation!
Attach of the Chip Clip
A cardboard house head!
We finished up the month with volunteering at Meals on Big Wheels. The kids did a great job and had so much fun! The boys sat in the back of the bus and laughed with glee as they bounced over every bump
They were rewarded with another treat to go to Jump Mania! They bounced until their little hearts were content. Avery even got in and had fun bouncing!
The boys matching in their robes in the middle of the summer.
Thanks for sticking with us until the end of our month of crazy, fun shenanigans! We had a great month and look forward to next!
