After our traveling at the beginning of the month, we have had a nice relaxing start to the summer. Hard to believe we are halfway through 2012 and it is already July. Time is just flying by!! Here are some pictures from our month:
Caleb often comes in doing silly "Carnival" type tricks--just like his Daddy does. Here he is "balancing" the ball on his head-guess he has seen his daddy do this a time or two.
More "Carnie" acts as we call them around our house
Caleb was playing with some marbles and made this heart design all by himself
Davis was so cute, looking out the back window at the birds and squirrels-he must have been like this for 5 minutes!
Staying cool with the water hose
A little sip with little brother pushing big brother out of the way
The first week we were back from our trips, Caleb went to his first Vacation Bible School. He had SO much fun at Prestonwood Baptist and he is already looking forward to going next year. One day they took a train ride around the parking lot, had a petting zoo, learned many classic games and songs, and soaked up God's word! Love it!
Davis and I had fun with our mornings that week--we were busy from drop off to pick up!! He was such a trooper! Caleb is the 2nd kiddo in the train.
This is his class-Caleb is front and center
A Saturday at the mall was CRAZY but the kids had fun showing daddy how they like to play. Davis is saying "Yup, I am tall enough or in this case, short enough"
Caleb loves climbing trees and he was so proud of himself when he climbed a tree after church
Playdate at a park with Sweet Amy, Annabelle, and Walter
First time in the backyard pool-They loved it!!!
Davis looks pretty awkward but he loved laying back in the water
And, why yes, they are matching in their green swimshorts--Love it!
We spent an afternoon at Jumpmania-one of Caleb's favorite places!!
Our playgroup went over to Trish, Mia, and Maggie's House to meet sweet Samuel at her Sip and See. Precious June crawled into a baby crib and laid there like a little doll.
Caleb loves having "Activities" and going places during our slow days. So, we have gotten creative with baking soda and colored vinegar in eye droppers, shaving cream, painting with various mediums, practing our letters in a variety of ways, playdoh, etc.
This month we also celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary!! We had 2 date nights in one week. On our actual anniversary night we went to Neighborhood Services Bar and Grill--it was super yummy and we had a great night reminiscing the past 7 wonderful years!
Caleb is just like his Daddy and creates his own games. Caleb found 2 little skateboards that he put on the bottom of his feet and "skateboarded/rollerskated" to a bed of pillows. They had so much fun with his new invented game.
Caleb was in his room changing his costumes and Davis comes running into the kitchen with a bow on his head. He was so happy and love that Caleb is getting him in the "costume spirit"
We have been spending the last couple of weekends preparing the "Boys" room for Davis to move in. Caleb was so excited about this move that he wanted to move up to his top bunk--so we made the big move. It brought a little tear to our eye as we kissed our big boy to bed that night. He did great and is ready for his brother to move in, next month-ish!
Our second Anniversary Date Night, we went to PFChang's and to see a movie. Such a fun night together, talking about the areas for improvements, laughing together, and loving our precious time together just the two of us!!!
