We have had yet another fun month, with a few birthday celebrations, Mimi and Papa coming to town TWICE, a big event with our students, a few play dates, and some lovely date nights. Not a ton of down time but we have enjoyed every minute of the craziness!
We played and had lunch at the mall with some friends from our Community-Caleb is taking a break
Davis was quite independent and was off and RUNNING to play until his heart's content-even though he is getting up in this picture-all the running ones were too blurry to post
Craig's small group was able to go see a Mavs game with great box seats. There were a few extra tickets so we tagged along for a few minutes before it was off to bed. Caleb LOVED the game and the pretzel sticks, Davis loved dancing to the music, climbing the stairs, exploring, and watching the excitement. It was a great opportunity and fun experience!
Cousin TJ gave Caleb his old blazer and Caleb really enjoys wearing it. He wants to dress like Daddy and go to work with him someday. He looks so cute dressed in it, that I have let him wear it to church during the week!!
Mommy with the Birthday Boy!
The advantages of having Mommy's birthday a week after Davis', we use the leftover cake for hers.
Sweet Boys
Davis playing with a ball, of course
Caleb LOVES reading and Mimi and Papa read MANY books during their TWO weekends in town.
Caleb is dressed for school on Valentine's Day, holding theValentine's he took to school. They are Tootsie Pops with Superhero capes, that say "You're a Super friend! or You're my Hero!"
One day during school, Davis and Mommy took a walk around the neighborhood and sweet boy fell asleep. Just wheeled him in and kept on sleeping.
Love Balls!
Spidey is doing tricks!
First Hair Cut!!! Mimi did a great job trimming Davis' locks-it now is not as fuzzy!
We make "nests" (pile of pillows). Davis dives into the pillows, rolls around and has SO much fun. I think he has learned that from his brother.
We played outside almost every afternoon. Davis is great at exploring! The sandbox has been HUGE to our boys!
Playing with toys that have been put away for a while, Davis of course, LOVES the ball toy that plays music too!
Date Night: We were grateful enough to have been given tickets to box seats at the Rock and Worship Roadshow. We had a great time with the Grundys on Laura's birthday and listening to some great music.
Some of the bands included Hawk Nelson, Disciple, Sidewalk Prophets,
Tenth Avenue North, Lecrae, &Mercy Me. I loved Tenth Avenue North & Mercy Me, and even enjoyed Lecrae (since the next weekend our DTown event with our students was based on one of Lecrae's songs-Background)!
Tenth Avenue North, Lecrae, &
Mercy Me was really good
Ms. Sarah (one of Julie's girls) is Caleb's teacher at Church and she sent this picture to me during church. So cute!
We had our big event, DTown, with our students. Here are the beautiful Junior girls. Can't believe they are growing up so fast!
Davis is now getting 4 molars, had a second ear infection, started running, and has bumps/bruises/scraps daily. Caleb is SO sweet to his brother and is mommy's big helper! We had a great February and are looking forward to a beautiful March!
